Performance Proxmox

I have a question about the performance of our Proxmox server.
Are there any specific settings that makes the performance of the virtual servers and software better?
We only installed Proxmox (We didn't make any changes to the settings).

Hi Moarph,

It's not that it's really slow, but it's just a question when fine tuning the settings if it's possible to increase performance.

Using the VirtIO guest drivers increases the speed when using KVM-CTs. If you want to speed up the whole Node I had a huge benefit by using flashcache but this messed up my Windows-Guests somehow.
