PDM migration. How is the traffic going

Hello, my friends!

I'm going to try out PDM and have a question related to its deployment in a data center.
Here’s what I’m wondering:

• If I deploy PDM outside a local network, with a set of nodes and branches,
  ➤ will access be limited by the WAN speed of the endpoints?
• And — crucially — will VM migrations occur through PDM,
  or will they use point-to-point connections along the shortest path?

In other words:
Will the traffic always go through the data center — even if the nodes are located nearby?

no currently migrations (be it intra or cross cluster) will not use the network to the pdm, but either
* the normal cluster migration network (intra cluster migration)
* the path the source cluster would take to the ip/name the pdm knows of the target cluster
(so the source will resolve the target's IP/Hostname and connect to that directly)
