PDM Cross-Cluster Migration problems

Hello lovely people,

Ive tested the PDM Cross-Cluster migration and I found some problems:

• VMID on target taken
  • It puts the source VMID as placeholder into the field.
  • There is no validation if this VMID is free on the target in this form.
  • Clicking "Migrate" validates the VMID and sees that is taken.
  • Could you automatically take the next free VMID if the default (source) VMID is taken pls?
• HA is enabled on the source VM
  • The migrations fails if the source cluster has HA enabled on the source VM.
  • Cant you just set HA to "ignored" at the start of the migration pls?
• "Delete Source" does not delete all config
  • If "delete source" is checked, I expected that all config of this VM is deleted from the source cluster.
  • I found the HA entry for a lot of migrated & deleted VMs.
  • I suspect that Backup Config Jobs wouldnt get deleted too, but I dont have a specific Backup Job per VM, just one Backup-Job for all VMs.
  • Could you please remove the VM from all configs like checkbox at the "Remove VM"-dialog pls?
• Adding a user to PDM with the realm pam
  • It sort of adds the user, but there is an error with the API...
• Adding a user to PDM with the realm pdm
  • I can add the user and give it all permissions and login...
  • But the dashboards show some missing permissions etc.
  • Cluster-Migration seems to work, but I get all kinds of popups with permission problems.

Overall I was impressed by the speed and ease-of-use of this feature.

Having cross-cluster live migration is awesome!
