So im new to proxmox, i was actually trying to follow TechHut's YouTube full walk through on setting up a home server, my plan is to end up having it run a home media server, im thinking Jellyfin. but im using my old Pc to try and do this, it is an Intel I5-9600k and a MSI MEG Z390 ACE mother board, components i would think could do this no problem. Though i am having an issue when it comes to PCI passthough i enter the

<br>GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet intel_iommu=on"

line in the grub, file and save and do the grub update then i reboot the PC to make sure those updates take hold. i then enter

dmesg | grep -e DMAR -e IOMMU

and i get in return is

[ 0.047954] DMAR: IOMMU enabled

i updated my bios and i was looking to see if there is a section that says VT-d? or something along those lines to enable it, but i cant seem to find it at all

please help

i also get this when i enter the following commands

root@pve-server:~# dmesg | grep 'remapping'
[ 0.141236] x2apic: IRQ remapping doesn't support X2APIC mode
