PBS VM File restore with md array

Hello,
If I have a VM configured with linux md raid array (in my case, RAID1), trying to do a file restore from PVE cannot mount anything from the VM.
Is it planned to support such a configuration ?

Thank you, I'll open it.

File restore is a great feature: it would be nice to have it for every machine present in PBS, not only HOSTS. Now if you want file restore a VM, you have to go in PVE ...
 
yeah the reason is that in pbs, we don't depend on any virtualization and do not have the code infrastructure to start vms etc. but we do have that in pve

also in pbs direclty you could do that for unencrypted backups anyway
 
no i meant if we would implement it on pbs, we could theoretically only do that for unencrypted backups.

so no, that feature is not implemented on pbs (and probably won't in the near future)
