PBS on LXC

Hi,

yes you can install it. Use a Debian 10 CT template, add our package repository signing key and a repository, see: https://pbs.proxmox.com/docs/installation.html#debian-package-repositories

Then you should be able to do so like on any Debian:
https://pbs.proxmox.com/docs/installation.html#install-proxmox-backup-server-on-debian

Note, above docs also install the kernel, which for a CT is not really necessary, so you could also go for:
Bash:
apt update
apt install proxmox-archive-keyring proxmox-backup-client proxmox-backup-server

Hi, Thanks for the infos, but it not woking on LXC, because the install it change the ifupdown package to ifupdown2, and it broke the network connection durring the installation. It will be an template from this, same like pmg.

I mean, the installation as is can be relatively easy done with the Debian template we provide.
But, it'd also not be that much work to provide a PBS one, so there's that.

It will very usefull to provide an similar package same with proxmox-mailgateway-container, which not contain any another packages which not need in LXC environment.
proxmox-backup-server-container
