PBS notifications

Is there anyway to stop the successful notifications from the PB server? Two decades of experience tell me that getting daily notifications that my backups and garbage collection have been successful is actually worse than useless. What I need is notifications when things have gone wrong, not when they have gone right. Otherwise you get bombarded with notifications and you can no longer see the wood for the trees aka those all important notifications that the backup failed etc. get lost as you get into the inevitable routine of closing a fist full of tickets every day.

Well, I was thinking about it recently. You may be right or wrong :)
I understand your point of view and usually mine is the same.
On the other hand though... if you don't get any notification, you don't know for sure whether all is OK or whether the notification system (or even something more basic and critical) failed.

Anyway: seems like one could choose severity levels from table in the section "15.4 Notifications Events" at
https://pbs.proxmox.com/docs/notifications.html#severity-matching-rules

Then in "Notifications" --> "Notification Matchers" add own matchers or modify existing ones at "Match Rules" link.

Or straight in /etc/proxmox-backup/notifications.cfg
