PBS monitoring status job

Good day.
Looking for the best way of monitoring backup job status.
Unfortunately was not able to found out any convenient requests via API. Could anybody share solution for achieving this goal (or thoughts about it) because notification by email isn't the best solution especially if you manage a lot of independent PBS servers.

What exactly do you want to monitor? The backup jobs on the PVE nodes or the backup/verify/GC/sync tasks on the PBS?

The status of performing backup jobs - OK / FAILED.

Thanks, I've got it - with this request we can afford to get status of jobs, but perhaps the more complicated solution (like as https://github.com/rare-magma/pbs-exporter) exists?
