PBS does not get permissions on subfolders on QNAP-NAS

Hey,

our PBS saves the backups on a QNAP-NAS. After connecting pbs and qnap proxmox granted itself permissions to the backup directory on the nas using ID 34 as permitted user. Unfortunately it did not grant itself permissions on subfolders. In my backup directory (Owner 34) i got 3 subfolders. VM (Owner 34), images (Owner Admin) and dump (Owner admin). I am unable to set permissions to ID 34 on images and dump since 34 appears not to be a registered user of the qnap nas. Without the permissions I can't run commands such as "garbage-collect" etc.

Does anyone have the same setup and problem by any chance?

Thanks in advance.

that sounds like you are using the same share for PBS and for regular PVE storage usage.. that is not a good idea, since both expect to manage the directory themselves. please use two separate shares!

PBS doesn't create an images or dump directory, and PVE doesn't create a vm directory, so that can't be true ;)
