We are running a separate proxmox backup server in a separate hardware server. We have configured a datastore there.
All the VMs are hosted in a 3 node ceph cluster backed by all NVMe SSDs.
The datastore is integrated via the storage section of the Proxmox VE under Datacenter.
FYI, the VM backups are encryption enabled.

We have a dedicated 10g network between the cluster and the PBS for the vm backups to take place.
However, the datastore in the PBS is backed by Enterprise HDDs. But the ceph cluster is on NVMe. Due to the speed differences between these storage classes may raise the issue in the sql server during the backup. That is what you are meaning. Right?
The only option in this case is to use backup fleecing using a fast storage. We have Sata SSD. Can we use this for fleeching?

I have configured backup fleecing with an enterprise SSD drive setup locally in each of the proxmox nodes. But the result is the same. All these errors are coming when the VM backup is triggered.Fleecing is PVE side.
