Hi,
I`m a newbie on PBS/PVE and have problems with my setup.
I just have ONE Dell Optiplex MICRO as host. It has a 1TB NVME (SO/data) and another 480GB SATA SSD (backups).
I created PBS as conteiner (LXC) and cannot understand how to add SATA 480GB as datastore.
Or the correct way to do it.

Yes, I know it may not be the easy way to do it, but I think it's what I can do with this hardware.
(I'm using it for a small company: 4 computer and <100GB data)

I 've add SATA480G on PVE / Storage / Directory and can use it to do backups from PVE
(I alread have backups/data on SATA480GB but I don't care about them, bacause all backup are sent to S3 cloud using RCLONE so I can start over easily, even if a wipe of SATA480G is required. )
But on PBS, on Administration / Storage/Disks , I see "/dev/sda1" as unused. And don't know how to add.

So I decide to add disk to CT (LXC) using mounting point.
I started to umount the SATA480GB on host.
I 've add it to MP4 with size 460GB (to easily identify it's the MP4 and not the real disk).
Later I add a new datastore, telling the mounting point of disk on host.

I'm sure SEVERAL things are wrong with this usage, just do not know how to fix them.
I think I'm mounting/configurating/... the SATA480GB disk on multiple points...and that's wrong.

Please show the light to this blind/newbie guy ! :)

Regards,

Jáder
