PBS API Calls

Firstly, congrats on another great release of PBS. With the native Proxmox integration, PBS is a killer.

The file restore function is such a boon as the ability to restore a single or a set of files from a VM backup of a particular date is a killer.

Now, if we can have this list available on an API call and the ability to restore the file on an API call too, it would make this a super solution.

is this possible ?

everything you can do on pve/pbs is available as an api call:

note that the single file restore functionality for VMs is only available on pve, since that is an environment where we know we can start a vm
on pbs you can do single file/image restore only for unencrypted backups, since the backup server does not have the key
