I'm currently using the Mellanox MT26448 card that works correctly when configured as the main network card for my claster. However, if I want to set passthrough to Freenas in VM I have some problem with the initialization of the card itself in FreeNAS 11.2 system.
I do not know if the problem is on the side of PROXMOX and wrong passthrough configuration, or maybe on FreeNAS?
I will add that earlier on the same equipment I had FreeNAS 11.2 bare on metal and the network card was correctly recognized and launched.
Do you have any guess what could be a problem?
