Passthrough GPIO serial device to VM

Hi,

I'm trying to passthrough a GPIO device which registers itself as a serial device under dev/ttyAMA0

How would I go about passing this through to a VM? Adding a serial port with "qm set" does not work and the vm won't start anymore due to an unknown isa-serial device.

Try to passthrough the device by

/dev/serial/by-id

maybe more or less similar to add a disk like in this article:
Passthrough Physical Disk to Virtual Machine (VM)
