hi
in germany there are isdn cards called fritz!card (mostly pci, but usb also possible) can i use this cards inside a openvz machine? i like to make a faxserver....

and is such a constellation possible under kvm?

And a last question: Do you have a documentation about P2V and more important V2P?? v2p for kvm would be interesting especially for windows vm's.

Thanx

I've tested it in 2 manners....

The KVM solution is the more difficult due to the isdn-passthrough.

In this situation i installed a hylafax on the proxmox VE itself and modified the scripts to send the fax from the kvm through the faxserver port of the PROXMOXVE.

THe OpenVZ is, in my opinion the best, you assign the capi20 device to the vz-machine and all the scripts-programs like c2faxrecv and c2faxsend works like a charme.
