During installation I selected to allocate 20GB to pve and use the rest of my 1TB sata3 drive for vm-drives/isos - but for some reason it decided to put it all into the EFI partition.

I see a potential solution here: (sorry for external link)
https://superuser.com/questions/1230741/how-to-resize-the-efi-system-partition

I guess I'm hoping there's something native to pve as it was to tool that decided it had the authority to take the rest of the disk.

Why if I limit the installer to 20GB would it assume the EFI partition needs additional space?

Sorry, I was trying to edit the post and was pulled away. I apparently made some changes and I’ll update here as soon as I get back to my desk.

By default both, VM disks and ISOs, would he stored on that single LVM partition (ISOs on the "root" LV, VM disks on the "data" thin LV) that you limited to 20G.
