Partition as datastore

Hello,

I have a raid and I want to create a partition and add it to PBS.
Is this possible?

Also, if this is not possible, it is OK to add a mount point as a datastore ? Like /mnt/partiton1 ?

sure, thats possible. a datastore is just a normal directory
there are a few requirements for the filesystem though, but all "normal" linux filesystems should have that already (ext4/xfs/etc)
