Can you create a group or pool where the users in it have access to parts of a pool? Without creating a unique pool for each user for multiple VMs. Use case is for students in classes for a University. Each pool would be a class, and trying to find out a way (if possible) to allow students to only be able to access certain VMs in the pool.

I'd go with per VM permissions instead of pool permissions. This can be scripted if you need to do it for many users and VMs
