Out off disk space

I cannot process outside emails because my disk is full and for the life of me I can't figure out (or find in the forum) how to free up some space. Any help would be appreciated. I am running Mail Gateway 2.1.
 
Error I am receiving from smptd: warning: not enough free space in mail queue: 0 bytes < 1.5*message size limit

do you run on physical hardware or virtualized?

a short temporary fix, delete old log files:

rm /var/log/syslog.*

This is a virtual disk running on windows through VMWare
