Hi Guys,

I am running into this Problem and dont know how and where to look for a solution for it.

The storage of the Drive was eaten and is increasing. I just deleted one snapshot so having again space.
Anyone knows this issue or know at least how to find our what error it is, or how to solve this....?

Having no idea, but what Log can I have a look at?
Maybe a memory dump issue? physically I only have 8gb RAM in the NUC....

Thanks in advance and best regards
Sascha

Can you select local-lvm in the left and see what's on it ?

Thats a bunch of strange items......
I think the containers are my Discs.... (I just tried to reduce the vm-102 from 80gb to 15gb, just in the middle of it....), but if i sum all up its a lot more than i thought..... 245GB......

that can happen because of thin provisioning (you can allocate more disk than you physically have, it's a dynamic size).

you can try using fstrim to free up a little space, maybe delete some older snapshots.

best long term solution is to get a bigger disk

Small footnote. Don't use snapshots long term. These are for short term use only. They get bigger with time (by design). If you want 'backups' then use backup process/ dump your backups to different (ie, inexpensive) disk . For example a USB 4Tb SATA drive makes a perfectly happy backup tank, it is cheap and works well for the purpose if you just have a standalone proxmox box and need 'secondary backups storage tank'.

if you need more primary storage, buy more disk(s) and deploy them in your proxmox and re-balance your VMs to use the new storage suitably.
