OS error 39 when deleting backup

Hello together,

I am testing Proxmox Backup Server for production use ... the server runs as VM on a Proxmox VE node ... the backup datastore is mounted (CIFS) from a QNAP NAS storage. Backup and restore jobs seem to work.

At the moment I am facing a problem (os error 39) by deleting backups from a deprecated VM on the backup server. Any advice?
... the corresponding snapshot directories are empty.

Best regards,
mscd

Okay I added the "nobrl" option to /etc/fstab and did a reboot of proxmox backup server ...
... how can I get rid of the vm (id 101) backup entry, displayed in proxmox Backup server ... the corresponding directories under /mnt/qnap/vm/101 are completely empty.

Thanks a lot!

Are you sure there was no hidden file? You can check with ls -la /mnt/qnap/vm/101?

Thanks a lot ... after an update to 1.0.8 ... it seems to work now.
Glad to hear, you can edit the thread and mark it as solved then.
