options zfs zfs_arc_max still needed for stability now-a-days?

It crashed again after two months.
So i decided and limited max_arc to 2 GB (from 4 GB as was default).
Will see..

Have you configured crashdump to write an actual kernel crashdump memory file? It would be interesting why it crashes.

Another suggestion would be in addition to the max-arc to setup zfs to use arc only for metadata-only.
