Hello,

Has anyone a clean CentOS 7 template (x64) with just standard packages + ssh?

Would someone please help me.


The venet0:0 device has the following settings but it does not work. I am not able to ping any IP address.

DEVICE=venet0:0
ONBOOT=yes
IPADDR=178.xxx.xxx.xxx
NETMASK=255.255.255.255

There is obviously a bug in this template (Missing access rights to venet0 interface in the container?).

However: why not using veth? This works fine also with this template and IMHO it should be preferred in any case.

Of course, OpenVZ should also correct the venet0 issue....
