I have installed proxmox 2.3-12 and assigned ip address 10.20.120.45(This is the IP address which is assigned in vmbr0). Vmbr0 interface has eth0 assigned in Ports/slaves.
OpenVZ container installation issue--> Create CT in Proxmox 2.3-12
When I created a OpenVZ container and choose Template file centos in tar.gz format. Here I downloaded this file from download.proxmox.com/appliances/system/centos-6-standard_6.3-1_i386.tar.gz in a different system and copied it to target location /var/lib/vz/template/cache/. I assigned 10.20.120.48 as IP address in Routed mode(venet). Now when I started the machine for installation a black screen appears and installation doesn't start. How to install it.
Any help/ideas will be much appreciated.

Thanks for the information tom. I followed the steps given in the link and am able to access the virtual machine 10.20.120.48. But I couldn't able to see the same through the console as it shows network error remote side closed connection or some times black screen. Kindly help me to rectify the issue. Also i need to install 4 machines and share the available 2 physical CPU's. Whether we will be able to split the physical processor and assign logically. Kindly clarify. Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Ok, so the container is installed and you got the console working? please confirm.

Yes. But i couldn't see anything in the console its blank, but working i reckon. Also i didnt install the OS it got installed automatically I am able to login to the server using putty. Is it possible to have LVM in it. Is it possible to install the OS manually. Please clarify
