Old zpool added - not usable

I have just installed Proxmox ontop of Debian 11, I had ZoL installed a zpool. I used "zpool import -f <poolname>" to add the old pool to Proxmox, all works but just one small tiny thing. Only VM Disks and CT Volumes are listed for it, but I am not able to create an VM or LXC to use this. I have corrected the permissions and owner to what my other "native" Proxmox server has. Still no difference. How do I get to use this storage to its full capacity?

Not sure if I understand your request completely - but if you add an external zpool to your system and want to use it for guest-disks - you also need to add it as 'Storage' in PVE (GUI->Datacenter->Storage)
this ends up in /etc/pve/storage.cfg

if this is not the issue - please provide some more info (at least):
* zpool status
* zfs list
* cat /etc/pve/storage.cfg
* one guest-config where you want to use the zpool as disk-storage

I hope this helps!
