Hello,

i have old Proxmox VE pve-manager/7.3-4/d69b70d4 (running kernel: 5.15.83-1-pve) which I cannot currently update.
I need to create new debian CT but i didn't see debian 13
#pveam available -section system | grep debian
system debian-10-standard_10.7-1_amd64.tar.gz
system debian-11-standard_11.7-1_amd64.tar.zst
system debian-12-standard_12.12-1_amd64.tar.zst
on another newer cluster it is better

# pveam available -section system | grep debian
system debian-11-standard_11.7-1_amd64.tar.zst
system debian-12-standard_12.12-1_amd64.tar.zst
system debian-13-standard_13.1-2_amd64.tar.zst

Can I copy an image from one cluster to another? Are there any restrictions?

Hello,
I think you can download the debian 13 template on the node where it's available. It will show you the URL where is the template. Copy this URL and then make a "Download from URL" Operation from your old Proxmox.

Containers are not fully independent of the Proxmox host kernel. Eventually, newer templates will fail to run on older (and unsupported) versions. This also goes the other way around when older templates no longer work on new Proxmox/kernel versions. Use a VM instead or migrate to a new Proxmox.
