oh sorry, yes i tried, but had some problems with my mainboard here not booting when more than one gpu was inserted (when one of those was the rtx 2060)
i did not have the time to try to fix that (since that was my personal gpu for home) and took it home

there i have a passthough setup for gaming as well, but based on arch (instead of pve) there it replaced my gtx970 and i could it passthrough no problem
the only thing i had to adapt were the 2 additional devices that you get with the card, a usb controller and serial controller for the virtuallink connection

does/did it matter what "brand" of card?
it should not matter, but some users had to update the firmware for some cards to work properly (e.g. some vega56/64 users)
also, it is always possible that some vendors do strange things with their products firmware

Hi dcsapak before I had a GTX 970 I had no problems with gpu passthrough, but I change for rtx 2060, I couldn't passthrough my rtx 2060 on proxmox and debian I tried to update the bios it wasn't working I got even some errors and proxmox need more time to start since I change gpu. I got some acpi errors.

what card do you have, how does your config/iommu groups/etc look like and what errors do you have? (journal/dmesg)?
