NTFS on stand-alone PBS client?

I have the PBS client installed on a standalone (bootable) USB thumb drive. It boots with Linux Mint 20.3 which is based on Ubuntu 20.04. Mounting NTFS is supported.

I am using it successfully to back up Linux desktop systems. I have one lonely Windows desktop system. Do you think that I will be able to mount the NTFS file system and use the PBS client to back it up? I'd like to do both pxar and image backups. Has this been tried before? I'd rather not reinvent the wheel or spend time on a dead end project.

Thanks.
