Today upon login on my proxmox server when opening on every VM noVNC console I get the following error on Google Chrome [Version 86.0.4240.111 (Official Build) (64-bit)]. I have never seen such error before.
I tried emptying browser cache and downloaded files, restarting the browser, to no avail. NoVNC works correctly on Firefox.

noVNC encountered an error:

Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier
https://xxx:8006/?console=kvm&novnc=1&vmid=xxx&vmname=xxx&node=pve&resize=off&cmd=:1:5
SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier at XMLHttpRequest.r.onload (<anonymous>:30:38)

hi,

do you have any extensions on your browser? can you try disabling them?

Thanks a lot, problem resolved. It was due to one of my recently installed extensions: Video Downloader by Skyload.
