Disclaimer: I'm new to Linux, and new to Proxmox; serial Youtube instructional video person here ... (sorry!)
Anyhow - this will likely be an embarrassing question, but here goes: Installed and configured Proxmox a while back. Attempted to get my head around Cloud Init and created my first Cloud Init template. Created a test VM from that and all worked OK. So far so good...
Let it sit for a bit, then logged on again today. Found that proxmox had some updates waiting to apply. Did this. Device had been up for a couple of weeks, so following update, figured it would be good to restart it.
On restart, my test VM is now booting at the default host OS. Proxmox console is not accessible via browser and default login is the cloud init image.
Most unexpected, and I'm a little stumped on:
a) how it happened
b) how to fix it
