Notifications setup?

I'm wondering if it is possible to setup what should trigger notifications?
I would for instance like to get a notification when there is available updates, is that possible?

I see ther are some kind of settings regarding notifications where you can set up "Notification Matchers" but I havent figured out ow that works, and I don't see anywhere you can select what should trigger the notifications to be sent.
The only notifications I get is the ones about backups.

Yes, I've read that, but I still can't get my proxmox to send notifications.
I have set up a notification target which is working when I hit the test button. But when I use that notification target in a notification matcher, see the screenshot, I don't get notified when there are available updates.
