I'm able to login to the proxmox node but not to ping from. Pc on the net.
If I use the Pc display port and not the net I see as net address 192.168.1.11 while I'm able to login on 192.168.1.9 on the net.

why ??

Hi @gianry , it may help if you provide the following information:

a) from PVE: ip a
b) from your workstation: ipconfig /all (or "ip a" if Linux)
It would be best if you can do it via copy/paste as text (using CODE </> tags from edit box menu).
If you cant do text, good photo is the backup plan.

Best

P.S. "tutorial" subject tag is normally intended for when you write an article that teaches community something

Blockbridge : Ultra low latency all-NVME shared storage for Proxmox - https://www.blockbridge.com/proxmox

I've found the solution for both the questions . Proxmox firewall didn't allow the ping reply.

The IP address to login as stated in the boot banner is stored in /etc/hosts fie . The strange thing is if you change the ip address in proxmox setting the IP shown in the boot banner doesn't change.
