Noob installation issues

I am trying to do a bare metal install on a dell r610. I can get the installer to launch, it gets to the point where it lets me know the install gui is available on 192.168.1.182. At this point on my other pc I navigate to https://192.168.1.182:8006, I get an error message about failing to connect and on the target server I get an error message of Installation aborted - unable to continue.

What am I doing wrong?

Your install has rebooted to a shell that tells you the IP address?

If the installer is giving you trouble you can try to Install Proxmox VE on Debian 11 Bullseye

I'm wondering if you ever got this figured out? Im in the same boat. Fresh install on NUC11i5 can see the device on my network but pinging it times out and I can't get to GUI.
