Just started using Proxmox and came across a couple of things that could do with attention imho:
- I was running a move of a guest volume to a different lv. I realised I had close the browser but when I opened it, there was no indication that anything was still running. When I tried to access to VM, it told me that it could not get a lock on the conf file and I could hear the disks whirring so I was pretty sure it was still going on in the background. Eventually it finished silently and all was well. Is there anything that shows background processes currently running?
- I find Convert to Template for a VM counterintuitive - I would expect it to create a copy of the VM as a template rather than change the existing VM in what appears to be an unrecoverable way - I then have to clone it again: different VM id, different MAC address etc which is a pain. Can we at least have an option alongside the existing one "Copy as a Template"?
