Noob - couple of observations

Just started using Proxmox and came across a couple of things that could do with attention imho:
  1. I was running a move of a guest volume to a different lv. I realised I had close the browser but when I opened it, there was no indication that anything was still running. When I tried to access to VM, it told me that it could not get a lock on the conf file and I could hear the disks whirring so I was pretty sure it was still going on in the background. Eventually it finished silently and all was well. Is there anything that shows background processes currently running?
  2. I find Convert to Template for a VM counterintuitive - I would expect it to create a copy of the VM as a template rather than change the existing VM in what appears to be an unrecoverable way - I then have to clone it again: different VM id, different MAC address etc which is a pain. Can we at least have an option alongside the existing one "Copy as a Template"?

At the bottom of the webUI you will find a list with the state and logs of the last tasks. Not 100% sure if moving a vdisk is a task shown there, but I would really wonder if it wouldn't.

That's what I thought but no tasks week running during this time. It's like it forgot it was running a task.

That is has successfully finished. Otherwise the status would be "running", "failed" or whatever. You can also double-click on one of the tasks to see a popup which shows a detailed log for that task.

Yes, my true was that proxmox said nothing was happened but it was - not noticing anything in the proxmox ui telling me this
