I'm stumped as to how to do this.

I'd like to create a PVE realm administrator that has access to the node CLI and also the ability run the upgrade from the web GUI. Currently, this new user is only able to check for updates, but not run the actual upgrade, and does not have access to the node CLI.

I've tried my best searching through the documentation and forums but I cannot find a simple answer to this problem.

Upgrade requests root.

Hey @Richard , is there any feature planned, that non-root users will be able to perform updates via UI? From my point of view, it is a problem if nobody can determine who has performed an update. It should be possible to grand update permissions also to users from e.g. OpenID realm. That way it would always be traceable who has performed updates and auditors would be happy. If there is a feature request or such open, it would be great if you could comment a link to it here. Thank you.
