Hi,

after reinstall to Proxmox 8, node started to freeze when VMs are highly loaded - it doesn't occur when load is only a few percents.

Tried several 6.2 and 6.5 kernels. It also occurs with kernel 5.15.107-2 (installed from bullseye repo) which was used with Proxmox 7 without any problems. I'm using same VMs during testing.

Tried several tips found on forum:
1. Installing different versions of kernels
2. Disabling vm.swappiness
3. Using mitigations=off kernel parameter

Nothing helped.

Does anyone have any tips to get it stable?

HW config:
Intel Core i9-11900 CPU
96 GB RAM (2×16 GB + 2×32 GB)
250 GB SSD Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe
Motherboard Gigabyte Z590M

I have this same thing happening on my server as well, though I'm on proper server hardware. It's older, but IMO that should make it more compatible in some ways. If I install Windows and Hyper-V on it, I have zero problems, but with proxmox for whatever reason it just hard freezes. Nothing in the logs just hard locks.
