my greetings.
I tell you that I have a cluster with 03 nodes, all with proxmox 6, there is a node with two sata hard drives, for two days, one of the disks failed, it is not activated, it is cold, this caused proxmox to no longer start .
What practices do you recommend to reactivate the proxmox and be able to the only virtual machine that I have in this node.
Your comments are appreciated.
Best regards.
Poli Criollo.

Please describe your setup in more detail, otherwise it's more or less guesswork on anyone's part.

If the VM storage is on a SAN/NAS, you're golden and just need to move the VM to another node. If you, however, have stored the VM in the local storage (raid 0, so striping ZFS disk), you lost all your data.

Greetings.
I have a working cluster, with three nodes, each node has 02 sata physical disks of 02 terabytes each, configure filesystem (zfs raid0) in the proxmox installation.
I have not yet implemented high availability.
A physical disk of node 3 failed, that proxmox no longer starts.
I want to recover the data, the virtual machines of that node.

isn't this the same as the original post? No new information, so I will cut that short… if your setup has been only relying on a simple zpool made from the 2 sata 2TB drives, then - as LnxBill already pointed out - your data is entirely lost and nothing can be done about that. If your setup is different, there might be some other issues, but you will need to provide more information on your setup:

- where was PVE installed
- how has the local strorage been made up

the PVE was installed on the lenovo physical server, this in the cluster is node three.

The storage is local, we use zfs radid0, for the two physical disks.

Then, your data is toast… sorry, you will need to have a backup and recover from that.
