Good afternoon people,

I updated proxmox today from version 6.4 to version 7.4, after updating, I restarted the server and could no longer connect via WEB and SSH.
The VMs are working as they are running and accessible.
But I can't access the proxmox, I can only access it through the virtual consolve of the iDrac of the physical server.
Could any colleague help me?

First I would check if the network is working. What are the outputs of ip a and cat /etc/network/interfaces?
Maybe your interface names changed.

Good afternoon,

The network is working, curiously the ip changed after the update, follow the print of the conf.

Good afternoon,

I managed to solve it, commenting the line 127.0.0.1 in /etc/host and it worked again.

Thank you in advance

"The network is working, curiously the ip changed after the update"
- because your network interface is set for DHCP, not static.
- 127.0.0.1 is the loopback interface, no idea why this has helped you solve your problem...

My guess is because OP had some erroneous text on that line that should not have been there.
the 127.0.0.1 is _essential_ for proper *IX OS operation.
@Edudroid you should look up the correct syntax for this line and put it back.

Hello, this with dhcp because the ip was fixed by the local FW.
As for the solution, I also did not understand why this line generated an error, but when commenting, it resolved.

Hello, I didn't find anything wrong with the line in question, I checked other proxmox and they are the same, but without needing to comment.
