I apologize in advance if this has been answered already, as I tried looking but could not find one.
My issue is I am trying to upgrade from 7.4-18 to the 8.x versions. When I run pve7to8 I get a few warnings about a storage pool that died but is still referenced as the ISO origin for some VMs but that is it. When 7to8 is run with all flags it doesn't give any other warnings than without, so I figure I'm good. Right? Not so much.
I am fully updated on all installed packages (apt update/upgrade) but when apt dist-upgrade is used, I get the following:
root@pve1:~# apt dist-upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Calculating upgrade... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
root@pve1:~#
No errors to clue me in as to what I'm missing. Clearly I am missing something basic here, can anyone help me with a clue?
I have tried rebooting the thing to see if something was supposed to be installed but was waiting 'in the wings' and updates could not occur until they were applied...but no luck.
Thanks much in advance!
