Hi all,

I try to move a volume (disk) to another share on the storage (nfs to smb) but after the move, the vm does not start.

How can i find out what is going on?

thanks

Maybe some rights conflict? Different user/group file/folder mask used on NFS and SMB share?
Did you just copied the volume direcly from one share to another or did you used the Proxmox GUIs VM -> Hardware -> Harddisk -> "move disk" button to move the volume from one location to another?

Thanks for your reply. I moved the volume with the move volume option in Proxmox itself.
The SMB share has the same user as the NFS does. So in theory it should work I guess?

I'm also new to proxmox but I would look in the /var/log/syslog if there are some error messages which could give you hints whats going wrong.

It looks like it does not write the image correctly to it.

Although the file is present on the storage. Not sure what is going on here
Even a new CT or VM does not start

I tried to mount it manually and it gives me an error the rootfs cannot be mounted.
Run a pct fsck 103 and now it starts. Looks like the container gets corrupt

Problem is when i create a new container, it is also corrupted.
It applies only to CT not to VM

What is wrong here?
