[TUTORIAL] "No signal" (video) when installing on old hardware using Proxmox VE 8.2 ISO

This happened to be a SuperMicro X9DRW-7/iTPF motherboard (old server). I thought I'd share how I was able to successful use the Proxmox VE 8.2 installer on a SuperMicro X9DRW-7/iTPF server.

At the initial menu I was getting "no signal" for UI or test installation.

Pressing "E" on the TextUI option and adding fbdev nomodeset at the end of the line starting with linux, then pressing Ctrl-X worked for me.

Thank you for sharing this! It would be even better, if you could add a "[TUTORIAL]" prefix to the title, so that more people know where they can find a solution to that problem

Thank you ! I've edited with a better title. That thread also point to the Installation docs where this is explained, I'll have to check if nomodeset is enough.
