No shutdown of VM's during restart of node

At the moment I'm updating Proxmox nodes. The restart of the first node went fine. A 'shutdown' command was sent to all VM's.

Today I rebooted another node. I noticed that the VM's are not shutdown properly. In the Task History the shutdown task per VM is missing as you can see in the image. They should have been listed under "Stop all VMs and Containers".

Is this a Proxmox configuration issue?

I guess the sort order in that list is wrong, and that is why you do not see the tasks?

Below is a snapshot of the log of one VM (#101). I rebooted the node twice, in both cases I don't see a shutdown command.

I had this same problem for multiple 3.2 nodes. It has been fixed in 3.3, or at least it works properly for whatever reason. The workaround was to issue "service pve-manager stop" before reboot. This took care of the proper shutdown sequence.
