No network interface found

I reinstalled after trying to use Ethernet and then installing network-manager for WiFi.

Now after having the Ethernet plugged in, I see no network interface found.

What? How come? The same as last time, lights are on.... I've restarted router as well. Unplugged and back in.

do you see any problems in the syslog or dmesg?
What do you get with these two commands?

ip -c a
lspci -tv

I have no idea. Long gone now.
I reinstalled a few times and it eventually worked.

Do you lot have a guide on WiFi?

I can only get Ethernet reliably working....
I did manage to get WiFi connection, sometimes it couldn't ping internet, sometimes just router...
Not surprisingly using the same wifi adapter works flawlessly on Ubuntu Server 2020 and Desktop......
