Hello,

I had Proxmox installed on one of my Dell R730 powered servers. Over the weekend I wanted to re-do my setup so I wiped my Hyper-V host and replaced it with Proxmox. I have installed it fresh twice now on this hardware and each time I am unable to get any LAN or WAN connectivity. Ive searched and searched and nothing has "fixed" my issues. I had no issues getting this setup on my other server, I am at a loss. I can not ping the Proxmox host not can I ping anything from the Proxmox server.

Can you please list some of the things that you tried to "fix" the issue? That might help forum members to avoid repeating things you've done.
For example, have you looked at and analyzed your running configuration via "ip a"?
Can you confirm that your regular workstation is using .4/22 subnet? (if windows "ipconfig /all"

change your subnet to 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 or 32
22 doesnt exist on 192.168 class c network

Hi all,

It ended up being a stupid Layer 1 issue. I unplugged the ethernet cable from my NIC's and plugged them back in and it started working. What has me puzzled is that this server was online and running numerous VM's prior to mo blowing it away, the cables were never messed with.
