I'm having an issue installing proxymox on a usb drive.
I created it with balenaEtcher using version 8.0

No matter what i do it always runs into the issue with not finding the disk.

Please help.

But you showed some x.org...I have never seen that installing Proxmox and I have installed it more than 20 times.
Did your bootable USB booted,? Is the the drive selected in the bios? what's the server hardware brand you're installing Proxmox on?

The USB boots to the proxmox splash screen. It does show in the bios and is selected.
I'm using a SanDisk Cruzer Fit 64GB usb drive.

I had asked what's the hardware (computer) you're installing Proxmox on or are you saying you're installing proxmox on SanDisk Cruzer 64GB drive? That's a hard-drive only! Thought you only wanted to make a bootable ISO with BelenaEtcher...

My understanding is the USB is bootable and will install proxmox on a separate partition of the USB drive. A colleague of mine has been able to do this in the past but for some reason I am running into an issue.

My setup is an IAS router that doesn't have internal storage.
I am trying to run proxmox completely off the USB drive.
