hello!

having a bit of an issue with Proxmox installation on and old PC.
It claims the disk can't be found, so I've tried installing debian 12 64bit and all works as expected.
BIOS can see the disk too.

moreover: I've retried a few times, played around with RAID/AHIC although that's way out of my comfort zone but saw advice on this somewhere...

attached screenshot of Ctrl + Alt + F2 output. Any ideas or need more info?

thanks

Apologies, I'm new to this domain - the problem was resolved following this thread: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/i...sk-during-installation-please-help-me.124584/

.. but replaced NVME with STA.

For the benefit of anyone else reading it...
I'm installing on a new machine, booting from USB from image: proxmox-ve_8.2-2.iso
When asked for the installer selection, I'm selecting a graphical installer, shortly after which I'm getting the image asking if I want to see output with Ctrl Alt F2, which yields the output from the first post.

@LnxBil - thanks for stopping by and trying to help :)
