what do you mean with 'installed the debian package on 9.04'?

for a working console you need to install:
sun-java6-plugin

@dietmar
Does it work when you open the VNC console with IE?

yes, its working. But I have to instll vmware to get a running xp, cause I dont have MS in my network ;)

How I get it work with Firefox 3.0.10 on ubuntu server 9.04 amd x64?

still not clear. your are working on Ubuntu and you install Debian packages, why? and what packages?

the console is working well on Ubuntu 64-bit and firefox so I assume something is wrong on your Desktop.
