No connection for VM after backup/restore from 6 to 7

Hi,


I made a backup of the VM on proxmox 6.4 to QNAP NFS location. When I try to restore this VM on to Proxmox 7 I have no lan connection - network device receive IP address from DHCP but can't ping LAN devices. it's Windows Server VM.

New created machines on proxmox 7 work fine.

Any idea ?

Hello
You talk about Proxmox 6 and Proxmox 7.
So you talk about 2 Proxmox Servers.
When you restored your VM on the second server, the Mac IP is restored too.
Maybe the problem is here.
Delete the Mac adress on the restored VM and restart.

I deleted a network network adapter and added new...still no connection.

Can you ping any IP from internet on your VMs?
