I just acquired a pair of Dell PE1950s, and have plans to replace the pair of PE1850s (which do not have the vmx cpu extension, so no KVM on them).
The 1850s are running PVE 2.0. I grabbed the latest Proxmox-VE from the website (3.0-0428106c-13), and installed it on the 1950. Everything installed fine, and I got the box up. I was able to log in to the box's website on port 8006. Everything looked good, so I added it to the 2.0 cluster. At that point, I was no longer able to log into the web interface on the 1950. That said, I can log in to the two 1850s, and see the 1950, in fact, I was able to migrate the vms off of one of the 1850s to the 1950, remove the one, and shut it down.
Now my questions are:
Thanks,

Now my questions are:
- Is this an interaction between the 2.0 cluster and a 3.0 installation?
- Once I build the second 1950 with 3.0, put it in the cluster, and shut down the last 2.0 box, will the two 3.0 boxes take over the load?
- When I add to the cluster, should I point the second 1950 at the first or at the 1850?
- Will I need to break the cluster and rebuild it when the last 2.0 box is off?
Thanks,
