Hi guys, how are you?
Im locked out from GUI or SSH, weird since the VM's inside are online.
I can access through IPMI on SoYouStart.
Already stopped the firewall, so it isn't a firewall lockdown. Important to say that this tends to happen after 24hs of being online and its solved with a hard reset from SoYouStart panel.

tcpdump command shows unknown command.
systemctl status pve-proxy shows "Unit pve-proxy.service could not be found", after systemctl restart pveproxy and status again, it shows:
Yem6RPP.png

systemctl status sshd -> see picture.

This is how interfaces look:

Still without access to the gui or ssh.

May it be a interface problem? should I put the values given at starting the system? with static ip and gateway?

Thx for the help.

Sorry for the bump, watching the syslog I found this:
Code:
Aug 15 08:51:00 iperazzo systemd[1]: Starting Proxmox VE replication runner...
Aug 15 08:51:00 iperazzo systemd[1]: pvesr.service: Succeeded.

Aug 15 08:51:56 iperazzo ntpd[850]: error resolving pool 3.debian.pool.ntp.org: Temporary failure in name resolution (-3)
And this gets repeated a LOT of times.

Depending on which OS I am installing, the SoYouStart autoinstaller sometimes seems to bring up my servers with IPv6 unconfigured. So, if I want IPv6 on these servers, I have to add the configuration of IPv6 by hand. At present, Proxmox seems to be one of the OSes which the SoYouStart autoinstaller does not configure IPv6.

So, maybe this error is as simple as "there is no IPv6 connectivity on this server."

@ohmagic Your vmbr0 is getting an IP address via DHCP and does it get the same IP address all the time? Also, it looks like you are restoring saved firewall rules. Have you checked the firewall rules?

Hi, need to join, cause am at similar points.
Do ou actually want to say, that the IP address that is used by ONE single VM should also be shared over the other VMs (on a KVM with windows, routed from host to guest)? you've asked: " does it get the same IP address all the time?" my setup more or less is only quite similar, cause am forced to use routed setup (by the hoster) and am still not sure about it... Hi, Im using OVH Proxmox Template, didn't changed anything.
The IP is static, and get the same everytime, but, for some reason, if I put static and the default adresses network don't work.
About the firewall rules, they are reloaded because of proxmox keeps rewriting my iptables because they have commands that PVE Firewall don't support I guess. (limit and recent)
My VM's have different ip adress and they are mac assigned.

Hi, yeah, this is a lot different to what I run ... pretty much limited with boundaries...

@ohmagic If I understand your situation correctly, you are not able to SSH or access GUI to PVE node. Is this correct? Your screenshot above shows DNS resolution error so I believe there is a network issue. If you actually check the content of iptables, does it allow SSH to the node? Could you please post the result of iptables -L or less /etc/firewall/iptables.save if that's okay?
